Console Repair Near You in South Orange County
Most console problems come down to two things: the HDMI port and heat. HDMI ports break when a console falls or gets pulled while the cable is plugged in, and the port has to be desoldered from the motherboard and replaced. Heat problems build up slowly, as dust clogs the fan and heatsink and the thermal paste dries out, until the console is loud, hot or shuts itself off. A cleaning fixes most of those, and new thermal paste, liquid metal or a new fan fixes the rest.
If you opened your console to clean it and now the fan won't spin, the fan's connector may have come off the motherboard with the cable. Don't run the console without its fan. Bring it in and we'll solder on a new connector.
