Which Mac do I have?
Choose Apple menu > About This Mac; the name is shown at the top. If the Mac won't turn on, the model number is printed on the bottom case. The MacBook Neo is model A3404.
How long does a MacBook Neo repair take?
USB-C port, headphone jack, speaker and Wi-Fi antenna parts are in stock, so those repairs are usually done in 1-3 hours, same day. For other repairs we order a genuine Apple part, and most arrive in 1-2 business days; once the part is in, most repairs take about 3 hours, and a keyboard replacement takes 1 business day.
Is it worth fixing a MacBook Neo?
Usually, yes. Most MacBook Neo repairs cost $89 to $379, well under the price of a new one. The Neo is Apple's most repairable laptop in years: the battery, keyboard, ports and speakers are all separate parts. A logic board replacement is the exception, and we'll go over that cost honestly before you decide.
My MacBook Neo has AppleCare+. Should I come to you?
Check your coverage first. With AppleCare+, Apple charges $49 for screen or enclosure damage and nothing for a worn battery, which is less than any repair shop can charge. For anything AppleCare+ doesn't cover, or when you need it fixed quickly without sending it away, we're here.
Can I mail in my MacBook Neo?
Yes. Buy the repair on its page, ship your Mac to us from anywhere in the US, and we'll repair it and ship it back. Standard return shipping is free.
Will I lose my data?
No, except for a logic board replacement. Screen, battery, keyboard, port and case repairs don't touch your storage. We still recommend a Time Machine or iCloud backup before any repair.
